What you can find at the Farmers Market from your very own TMG
We are mushroom fanatics through and through we are passionate about offering amazing culinary mushrooms that can provide the regular cook a more delicious variety to their meals. To achieve that, we would like to offer visibility with our mushrooms as well, we plan on doing this by offering a rotation of seasonal mushrooms but also keep along any fan favorites that our customers might have.
Groceries stores across the United States generate roughly 16 billion pounds of food waste every year. We here at TMG think that that is a serious problem and our solution to that for our farm is freeze-drying any produce that we create, to not only preserve the quality, but also the flavor.
Fresh Mushrooms available at the Melissa Farmer Market:
We have a variety of mushrooms, we offer a little something different every farmers market. Our typical lineup includes Pioppini, Shiitake, Black Pearl, Lions Mane, and Blue Oyster. If you cannot make the market don’t worry, we also offer all of our beautiful fresh mushrooms freeze-dried. Freeze-drying our mushrooms ensures preservation of the nutrients and all of the delicious flavor.
